Onkyo no hako — Music for solo cello by Hugues Vincent NEW!

"Onkyo no hako" (from Japanese, meaning "sound box") is a radical and beautiful portrait of cellist Hugues Vincent. From subtle bow techniques to raw material for strings, this 3rd solo recording displays a collection of very personal ways of playing recorded live in studio. A rare music for solo cello drifting between immediacy and austerity. *MORE

Tales Of Noboru — by Hugues Vincent Released January 2009

Astonishing second solo publication inspired by Yukio Mishima's book The Sailor Who Fell from Grace With The Sea and focusing on real-time electro-acoustic editing and mixing. This new opus "tells" a fragmentary story in the shape of a long and unique (sound)-composition. An impressive work full of details and narrative passion(s) that displays the original craftmanship of a free performer. *MORE

Original soundtrack from 'Vision d'elles' exhibition — by Franck Smith

A 70mn track commissioned especially by graphic artist Elvire Bastendorff for her 6-months audiovisual exhibition in Luxembourg titled 'Vision d'elles'. This special soundtrack is based on 20 custom-made vinyls each one containing selected phrases and comments from the 20 women portraited in Bastendorff's work. Orchestral mixing of manipulated voices and electronic for a very strange, dirty and animal result. The final recording was played continuously, all day long, from 27th April to 28th October 2007... A document!
